Solo acoustic Blues with slide guitar, piano, blues harp the real thing. Blues Revue Loved it and you will too with echoes of Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Lightnin' Hopkins, Memphis Slim - but with the original styling of Brian "Dr. Mojo" Robertson

Brian "Dr. Mojo" Robertson has played blues for over 30 years, beginning as a teenager with Lightnin' Hopkins. This newest cd, Big Ass Buick, is a great example of acoustic blues with slide guitar, piano and blues harp -- as well as Robertson's smooth vocals.

Blues Revue, the largest blues magazine in the world, reviewed the cd in the February issue and gave it a rave review, saying, "Blues veteran Brian Robertson is back with more roots music on Big Ass Buick. Equally adept at fingerstyle and bottleneck slide guitar, piano and harp (and possessor of a gutsy voice as well), Robertson winds his way through a mix of catchy originals like "Buy Me A Mojo" which borrows from Muddy Waters' "Louisiana Blues" and the piano strolling opener, "Last Getaway" as well as covers of Son House, Willie Dixon and Robert Johnson tunes. Robertson's style is both laid back and intense and he succeeds in creating the kind of eerie-yet-soothing atmosphere that suffuses the best solo blues recordings."

Brian Robertson is also the author of the classic blues book LITTLE BLUES BOOK with R. Crumb and he continues to do live performances around the country. He has been the #1 acoustic blues artist in the world on.
