Lars Luis Linek is a professional musician for over 30 years. Main instrument is 'mouth-organ'. In the course of his career has been involved thousand production with several artists.
After his 'Blues In Germany' cd appeared in 1997 on this triple cd Linek illustrate the contemporary German Blues. Of course, only present a small selection of what's really happening on the German Blues scene these days.
On the first cd we can listen the singer Floy. She's accompained by the Lars Luis Linek Band with Martin Scheffler and Abi Wallensten on guitar and slide. Floy are a real happening.
On the second cd presents several guest artists from German Blues as Roger Cicero, percussionist Robbie Smith, Abi Wallenstein on guitar, Herb Geller on sax and Wolfgang Schluter on vibraphone.
The third, and last cd of this set is completely dedicated to the great singer and guitarist Tom Shaka. Tom stands for traditional blues and loves the dark side of this low down dirty genre. His concerts are incredibly intense and true 'celebrations of the Blues'.
