The Blues-iest edition of the 'Highlights From The Blues & Boogie Piano Summit' series- the Fifth Anniversary Edition-recorded LIVE at Newport, Kentucky's Historic Southgate House on Saturday, November 8th, 2003- this edition lays heavier on the blues, with outstanding contributions from the one and only Ann Rabson, Chicago's son of piano blues, Chuck Goering (better known as Barrelhouse Chuck), patriarch of Texas/Santa Fe-style piano pickin', Charlie Booty, and myself, Cincinnati Ohio's Ricky Nye - outstanding accompaniment from my partners in 'The Swingin' Mudbugs', Tony Flanklin on drums & Nick Lloyd on upright bass.
