Born in 1964, is a musician for over 30 years. He took piano lessons at the age of 12-16 years, the age of 15 he formed his first band and played since then in various Bestzungen throughout Europe at festivals and in numerous clubs. Since 1991 he has more than 20 minutes and an own record 60th live DVD releases.
As a pianist, singer, arranger, lyricist and songwriter, he has sworn body and soul of Southern music.

His performances are marked by the distinctive way in which Thomas Stelzer singing and feeling connected. His smoky blue tube covered songs also lends a distinctive flavor. With its formation, he offers Southern blues and New Orleans-style. Many titles are written by him and are based on various models of Professor Longhair, Fats Domino, Dr. John Toussaint, to Allen.
Thomas Stelzer gets inspiration, especially when he visited the southern states and New Orleans. So he went there in 1999 with Levon Helm in his Blues Cafe, played in 2001 with Marva Wright and her band in Mama's Blues Club and had the opportunity of the 13th Annual WWOZ Piano Night with Eddie Bo, Marcia Ball, Jon Cleary, Charlie Miller Johnny and knit in the blanket to play music.
