After over a half decade as guitarist for the “Crazy Hambones” Peter Crow C. aka Peter Krause returns to his musical roots, the acoustic blues.

Teaming up with his old musical companions Tony Ramos (Harp, Vocals) and Dirk Vollbrecht (Stand Up Bass) ? the “Weed Whackers” - who had supported him on his prize winning album “Greedy Woman Blues”, Peter presents on the new CD “Evil Queen Of Diamonds” a mixture of ragtime, spiritual and naturally a variety of different blues styles.

The title track and an additional four of the 12 tracks are original compositions. The cover songs are a homage to the blues greats like Blind Lemon Jefferson, Muddy Waters, and Big Joe Williams, while not being played like exact copies of the originals they stand out as individual interpretations.

The vocals of Tony Ramos are also featured, which adds a special note even to a Traditional such as “St. James Infirmary”. “Evil Queen Of Diamonds“ is traditional and equally modern, and it will entertain the listener.
