Henning Pertiet (Piano)
At the age of 23 he discovered the Boogie-Piano for himself: It was a record of Axel Zwingenberger that carried him off his feet, so he did everything to become a Boogie-Pianist himself.
With contact to the Hamburg music scene and the local artists Axel Zwingenberger, Jo Bohnsack, Joja Wendt and Gottfried Bttger (who is one of his uncles by the way!) he had the best framework to learn the basics of this music directly from the people he admired.
Very soon his fingers did what he wanted and many concerts all over Germany followed.
Henning either played piano solo or with drum and vocals.
Henning Pertiet becomes pianist of the Mojo Blues Band
By recommendation of Axel Zwingenberger Henning joined the Mojo Blues Band from Vienna in 1993.
It is one of the best and most well known authentic blues bands of Europe. In the summer of the same year he became an integral part of this formation and he started touring Europe for 4 years as a band piano player.
During this period the Mojo Blues band recorded two CDs (live and studio published by EMI Austria) on which Henning not only proved to be a sensitive accompanist but also had a strong influence on the band with his boogie style.
Andreas Bock (Bluesdrumming)
For many years now Andreas sits at his beautiful Ludwig drums and guarantees the perfect rhythm, the groove and lots of good humor and enthusiasm.
Focus is the blues in its wide facet.
Whether Chicago or West Coast Style, New Orleans, Jumpblues and the era of rhythm & blues to rock 'n' roll and the powerful beat of the T-Birds: the attention to detail and style make the heart of every lover of this music beat.
His experience and filigree is reflected in over 30 - years of stage experience. In the approximately 2000 gigs all over Europe at all national and internationally recognized blues and jazz festivals and various tours with renowned German and American artists, he was able to demonstrate his skills.
More of the tape player as the soloist, it is just his trademark
to support dynamically aggressive and yet sensitive and perfect professional colleagues at his side and to regard the music as a great work in which every musician is a part of the whole.
Experience the diversity of the Bluesdrumming at a concert with this sympathetic drummer!
